Greetings
The Department of Communication has more than 600 undergraduate Communication Arts majors enrolled in our programs like broadcast media, corporate communication, information specialist, Internet technology, media technology, print and Web journalism, and public relations. In addition, we offer a Master's degree in Communication Arts with more than 150 students enrolled from all over the United States. They study in either corporate or general communication.

We have experienced and expert faculty who not only have the appropriate academic credentials but also the "real world" experience. Our facilities include a 24/7 radio station (WAPX-FM) and cableTV channel (Channel 99). state-of-the art digital video editing bays, a Web design computer laboratory, and a telephone-computer research center. We provide the "hands on" experience to our students so lacking in many programs today. Students can help produce the many APSU athletic events broadcast on the radio and cable channel and streamed online.

We welcome your interest, and invite you to join the more our undergraduate and graduate Communication Arts majors already studying and practicing communication at Austin Peay.
